Mark Wright is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Xtreme Intervention Services Ltd.

Mark, a native of Chicago’s west side, is an accomplished musician and songwriter. He has several passions which includes music, missions, and mentorship.  Mark holds a Bachelors in Pastoral Ministry with an interdisciplinary in Urban Missions.  After serving 12 years in youth services ranging from direct service to management & resource development, Mark, decided to follow his heart and officially launch an organization to work in tandem with others of like mind in the Austin community. His goal is to impact our city and be a positive influence in the lives of our children.  Amid his numerous impactful leadership positions, Mark’s passion and gift for music have afforded him several opportunities to serve across communities in Chicago and various states in the U.S.

WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS WORK?

I believe this work chose me versus me choosing it.  Early in my career, I had the opportunity to work with various youth programs.  Each program offered the children something of value, but after having the opportunity to engage with the young people one on one, I realized there was an element that could be explored with our youth. 

It is my goal to have Xtreme Intervention Services help children grow into their full potential.  This work allows me the opportunity to do something bigger than me.  It opens the door for me to advocate for those who can’t do it for themselves. We must be willing to give of ourselves so that we can liberate others.
